READ OUR STORIES☝

THE POWER OF STORY

Through storytelling, we heal together, amplify each other's voices, and create a lasting record of Hmong women's resilience and leadership across the world. In a movement for change, our personal narratives become collective tools for transformation.

WHY STORYTELLING MATTERS

Healing Through Narrative

Sharing our stories allows us to process experiences, find meaning, and connect with others who understand our journey.

Building Community

Our stories create bridges across generations and geographies, strengthening the bonds of our global sisterhood.

Advancing Leadership

When we share our experiences of overcoming challenges, we inspire and mentor the next generation of leaders.

Amplifying Voices

Storytelling reclaims our narratives and ensures Hmong women's perspectives are heard in broader conversations.

Stories of Transformation

I was having a second life crisis and I didn't know if I was going to make it. Attending the Hmong Women Lead conference inspired me to keep going. I am now confident that I don't need to know everything and am going to start helping the women in my family and community.

2024 Conference Attendee

I am just a member of the community, I have no mental health background but I did want to say what an amazing job this conference did in bringing the importance of mental health to light. I loved seeing other Hmong women and hearing about what they do...

Ncha

I used to believe leadership required a title or advanced degrees. Hmong Women Lead showed me that I am enough as I am. Now I speak up more at work and trust my own voice to create change.
